Panagiotis Fotis holds a PhD from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and works at the Hellenic Competition Commission. He holds an Mphil and Msc in Economics from the Universities of Glasgow and O.P.A.-E.P.A.
His thesis focuses on issues of Competition Policy and Industrial Organization. He is Head of Division of the DG Competition Commission. He has taught at universities: O.P.A., Piraeus, Central Greece the courses of Microeconomics, Environmental Economics and Investment Evaluation.
He has published scientific articles in international and Greek journals and is the co-author of the book ‘The Competitive structure of Gasoline Industry, Gazoline Price Asymmetries Across the Globe’.
