Georgios Stathakis
He holds a PhD from Imperial College, University of London and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
Since 2003 he teaches at the Hellenic Open University the subject area of Quantitative Methods and since 2004 he teaches at the University of the Aegean in courses related to business administration such as Operations Research, Production Management, Project Management and Operations Management.
In the past, he has taught at the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras and has been a research associate at Imperial College and the National Technical University of Athens. He has worked as a freelancer preparing economic and technical studies and supervising technical projects.
He has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate theses at the Hellenic Open University, the University of the Aegean and the University of Patras.
He has participated in four research projects and his research interests span the fields of Operational Research, Project Management and Operations Management and Operational Performance of Local Authorities.
